Ringkasnya:

Video tidak pernah meninggalkan Mac-mu. Semua pemotongan dan encoding dijalankan lokal oleh ffmpeg.
Video Trimmer tidak menjalankan server dan tidak ada akun untuk didaftarkan.
Satu-satunya akses jaringan aplikasi adalah pemeriksaan pembaruan ke GitHub Releases API, tanpa mengirim datamu.
Tanpa iklan, analitik pihak ketiga, atau pelaporan crash.

1. Siapa kami

Video Trimmer ("aplikasi") dikembangkan oleh Ahmad Arif, pengembang independen di Indonesia ("kami"). Pertanyaan tentang privasi dapat dikirim ke [email protected].

2. Data yang diproses di perangkatmu

Video yang kamu buka, thumbnail timeline, tanda segmen, dan hasil ekspor diproses dan disimpan sepenuhnya di perangkatmu lewat ffmpeg, ffprobe, dan VideoToolbox. Hasil ekspor ditulis di lokasi yang kamu pilih; berkas aslimu tidak diubah. Tidak ada yang dikirim ke kami.

3. Pemasangan ffmpeg lewat Homebrew

Dari panel settings kamu bisa mengecek, memasang, atau memperbarui ffmpeg. Aplikasi menjalankan brew di perangkatmu untuk itu, yang berarti ada komunikasi dengan infrastruktur Homebrew dan GitHub, di luar kendali kami. Tidak ada data tentang videomu yang dikirim.

4. Pemeriksaan pembaruan

Saat Automatically check for updates aktif, Video Trimmer menanyakan GitHub Releases API pada repo ahmadarif-lab/video-trimmer saat aplikasi dibuka dan setiap 6 jam setelahnya.

Permintaan ini hanya menanyakan nomor rilis terbaru, tanpa mengirim data apa pun tentang perangkat atau berkasmu.
Seperti permintaan internet pada umumnya, alamat IP-mu terlihat oleh GitHub sebagai penyedia API tersebut, di luar kendali kami.
Memasang atau memperbarui lewat Homebrew berarti ada komunikasi tambahan dengan infrastruktur Homebrew dan GitHub, juga di luar kendali kami.

5. Berbagi data

Kami tidak menjual, menyewakan, atau membagikan data apa pun. Aplikasi tidak memuat SDK iklan, analitik, atau pelaporan crash pihak ketiga. Pihak luar yang berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi hanya GitHub/Homebrew (bagian 3 dan 4).

6. Menghapus data Anda

Video Trimmer menyimpan pengaturannya di penyimpanan preferensi standar macOS. Hapus aplikasi lewat brew uninstall --zap --cask video-trimmer untuk menghapus pengaturannya juga. Video hasil ekspor ada di lokasi yang kamu pilih; hapus sendiri bila tidak diperlukan. Tidak ada data lain di luar perangkatmu.

7. Perubahan kebijakan

Jika kebijakan ini berubah, versi terbaru akan dipublikasikan di halaman ini dengan tanggal pembaruan yang baru.

In short:

Your video never leaves your Mac. All cutting and encoding is done locally by ffmpeg.
Video Trimmer runs no server and has no account to sign up for.
The app's only network access is the update check against the GitHub Releases API, without sending your data.
No ads, third-party analytics, or crash reporting.

1. Who we are

Video Trimmer (the "app") is developed by Ahmad Arif, an independent developer in Indonesia ("we"). Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

2. Data processed on your device

The video you open, the timeline thumbnails, your segment marks, and the exported result are processed and stored entirely on your device through ffmpeg, ffprobe, and VideoToolbox. Exports are written where you choose; your original file is not modified. None of it is sent to us.

3. Installing ffmpeg through Homebrew

From the settings panel you can check, install, or update ffmpeg. The app runs brew on your device to do so, which means communication with Homebrew's and GitHub's infrastructure, outside our control. No data about your video is sent.

4. Update check

While Automatically check for updates is on, Video Trimmer asks the GitHub Releases API for the ahmadarif-lab/video-trimmer repo at launch and every 6 hours after that.

This request only asks for the latest release number, without sending any data about your device or your files.
Like any internet request, your IP address is visible to GitHub as the API provider, outside our control.
Installing or updating via Homebrew means extra communication with Homebrew's and GitHub's own infrastructure, also outside our control.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only outside parties the app communicates with are GitHub/Homebrew (sections 3 and 4).

6. Deleting your data

Video Trimmer stores its settings in the standard macOS preferences storage. Remove the app with brew uninstall --zap --cask video-trimmer to delete its settings too. Exported videos sit where you saved them; delete them yourself if you no longer need them. No other data exists off your device.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
