Ringkasnya:

StatBar tidak menjalankan server. Semua statistik sistem dibaca langsung dari macOS di perangkatmu.
Satu-satunya data yang keluar dari perangkatmu adalah alamat IP publik, dicari lewat ipinfo.io — bisa dimatikan di Settings.
Tidak ada helper tool, tidak butuh akses root, tidak ada akun untuk didaftarkan.
Pemeriksaan pembaruan hanya menanyakan GitHub Releases API repo ini, tanpa mengirim datamu.

1. Siapa kami

StatBar ("aplikasi") dikembangkan oleh Ahmad Arif, pengembang independen di Indonesia ("kami"). Pertanyaan tentang privasi dapat dikirim ke [email protected].

2. Data yang dibaca di perangkatmu

StatBar membaca statistik sistem langsung dari antarmuka macOS bawaan (seperti host_processor_info, host_statistics64, IOKit, dan kunci SMC), termasuk:

pemakaian dan suhu CPU/GPU, memori dan swap, kesehatan dan daya baterai;
lalu lintas jaringan, IP lokal, dan hasil ping ke host yang kamu atur;
kapasitas dan aktivitas baca/tulis tiap volume disk;
nama dan pemakaian resource proses yang berjalan (CPU, memori, atau I/O disk tertinggi) — hanya saat dropdown yang menampilkannya sedang terbuka, dan hanya untuk proses milik pengguna, bukan proses milik root.

Semua data ini diproses dan ditampilkan sepenuhnya di perangkatmu. Tidak ada yang dikirim ke kami.

3. Pencarian IP publik (opsional, aktif secara default)

Widget Network dapat menampilkan IP publikmu beserta negara dan kotanya. Untuk ini, StatBar mengirim permintaan ke ipinfo.io, pihak ketiga independen, yang menerima alamat IP-mu seperti layaknya situs web mana pun yang kamu kunjungi. Fitur ini aktif secara default dan bisa dimatikan kapan saja lewat Settings → Network; saat dimatikan, tidak ada permintaan yang dikirim. Pemakaian ipinfo.io tunduk pada kebijakan privasi ipinfo.io sendiri.

4. Pemeriksaan pembaruan

Saat Automatically check for updates aktif, StatBar menanyakan GitHub Releases API pada repo ahmadarif-lab/statbar saat aplikasi dibuka dan setiap 6 jam setelahnya; tombol Check for Updates melakukannya sesuai permintaan.

Permintaan ini hanya menanyakan nomor rilis terbaru, tanpa mengirim data apa pun tentang perangkat atau pemakaianmu.
Seperti permintaan internet pada umumnya, alamat IP-mu terlihat oleh GitHub sebagai penyedia API tersebut, di luar kendali kami.
Memasang atau memperbarui lewat Homebrew berarti ada komunikasi tambahan dengan infrastruktur Homebrew dan GitHub, juga di luar kendali kami.

5. Berbagi data

Kami tidak menjual, menyewakan, atau membagikan data apa pun. Aplikasi tidak memuat SDK iklan, analitik, atau pelaporan crash pihak ketiga. Pihak luar yang berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi hanya ipinfo.io (bagian 3, opsional) dan GitHub/Homebrew (bagian 4).

6. Keterbatasan sensor

Suhu dan kipas dibaca lewat kunci SMC yang tidak didokumentasikan resmi oleh Apple, sehingga bisa berubah pada versi macOS mendatang; StatBar hanya membacanya, tidak pernah menulis nilai apa pun ke perangkat kerasmu.

7. Menghapus data Anda

StatBar menyimpan pengaturannya (tema, urutan item, interval update) di penyimpanan preferensi standar macOS untuk aplikasi ini. Hapus lewat Settings → Reset di dalam aplikasi, atau uninstall aplikasi sepenuhnya lewat brew uninstall --cask statbar. Tidak ada data lain yang tersimpan di luar perangkatmu untuk dihapus.

8. Perubahan kebijakan

Jika kebijakan ini berubah, versi terbaru akan dipublikasikan di halaman ini dengan tanggal pembaruan yang baru.

Privacy Policy

In short:

StatBar runs no server. All system stats are read directly from macOS on your device.
The only data that leaves your device is your public IP address, looked up via ipinfo.io — you can turn it off in Settings.
No helper tool, no root access, no account to sign up for.
The update check only asks this repo's GitHub Releases API, without sending your data.

1. Who we are

StatBar (the "app") is developed by Ahmad Arif, an independent developer in Indonesia ("we"). Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

2. Data read on your device

StatBar reads system statistics directly from macOS's own interfaces (such as host_processor_info, host_statistics64, IOKit, and SMC keys), including:

CPU/GPU usage and temperature, memory and swap, battery health and power draw;
network traffic, local IP, and ping results to a host you configure;
each disk volume's capacity and read/write activity;
the name and resource usage of running processes (top by CPU, memory, or disk I/O) — only while the dropdown that lists them is open, and only for processes owned by you, not by root.

All of this is processed and shown entirely on your device. None of it is sent to us.

3. Public IP lookup (optional, on by default)

The Network widget can show your public IP along with its country and city. To do this, StatBar sends a request to ipinfo.io, an independent third party, which receives your IP address the same way any website you visit would. This feature is on by default and can be switched off at any time under Settings → Network; when it's off, no request is sent. Use of ipinfo.io is subject to ipinfo.io's own privacy policy.

4. Update check

While Automatically check for updates is on, StatBar asks the GitHub Releases API for the ahmadarif-lab/statbar repo at launch and every 6 hours after that; the Check for Updates button does it on demand.

This request only asks for the latest release number, without sending any data about your device or usage.
Like any internet request, your IP address is visible to GitHub as the API provider, outside our control.
Installing or updating via Homebrew means extra communication with Homebrew's and GitHub's own infrastructure, also outside our control.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only outside parties the app communicates with are ipinfo.io (section 3, optional) and GitHub/Homebrew (section 4).

6. Sensor limitations

Temperatures and fans are read from undocumented SMC keys that Apple hasn't officially published, so they could change on a future macOS release; StatBar only reads them and never writes any value to your hardware.

7. Deleting your data

StatBar stores its settings (theme, item order, update intervals) in the standard macOS preferences storage for this app. Clear them from Settings → Reset inside the app, or uninstall the app entirely with brew uninstall --cask statbar. No other data is stored outside your device to delete.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
